PERKESO Panel Clinic — Work Injury Treatment Without Paying Out of Pocket
PERKESO — Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial, also widely known as SOCSO — is Malaysia's social security organisation providing occupational accident and disease coverage for employees in the formal sector. If you have been injured at work, involved in a work-related accident during your commute, or diagnosed with an occupational disease, you may be entitled to seek treatment at a registered PERKESO panel clinic under the Employment Injury Scheme — without bearing the medical costs yourself.
Dr. Prevents is a registered PERKESO panel clinic across all eight branches in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. When a PERKESO-eligible patient presents at our counter with their IC and PERKESO details, our team processes the claim directly with PERKESO on your behalf. There is no need to pay first and reclaim later for covered treatment — the PERKESO GP panel clinic arrangement handles the billing entirely from our side.
Who Is Covered Under PERKESO (SOCSO)?
Malaysian employees in the private sector who contribute to SOCSO are covered under two PERKESO schemes: the Employment Injury Scheme (covering work accidents, occupational diseases, and commuting accidents) and the Invalidity Scheme. If you have been injured at work or during your journey to or from work, you are likely entitled to treatment at a registered PERKESO panel clinic at no cost to yourself. Employers are required by law to contribute to SOCSO on behalf of all eligible employees — bring your IC and we will verify your coverage at the counter.
What Is a PERKESO GP Panel Clinic?
A PERKESO GP panel clinic (also referred to as a SOCSO panel clinic) is a general practitioner clinic registered with PERKESO to provide outpatient treatment to employees covered under the Employment Injury Scheme. As a registered PERKESO panel clinic, Dr. Prevents can assess and treat work-related injuries, issue relevant medical documentation, provide follow-up wound care, and coordinate referrals where specialist treatment is required — all billed directly to PERKESO. - Occupational disease treatment — conditions arising from workplace exposure, assessed and managed by the GP
- Follow-up wound dressing and care — ongoing dressing changes and wound monitoring after initial treatment
- Prescribed medications — for covered work injury conditions, dispensed and billed to PERKESO
- Specialist referral letter — written same-day for injuries requiring orthopaedic, surgical, or specialist follow-up. More details on our panel clinic page
How to Use PERKESO at Dr. Prevents — Step by Step
Walk in to any branch — no appointment needed. Bring your Malaysian IC (MyKad). If you have your PERKESO reference number or your employer's details, bring those too. Not sure? WhatsApp us at 016-848 5911 first.
Inform the counter team that you are a PERKESO patient. Our team verifies your eligibility and confirms whether your injury or condition falls within the PERKESO Employment Injury Scheme.

We submit the PERKESO claim — our team handles the documentation and billing submission to PERKESO. You receive a copy of your treatment record for your personal file.
Available 24 Hours — Because Workplace Accidents Don't Wait
Workplace injuries and accidents don't happen on a schedule. They happen on night shifts, during overtime, on the way home at 7 PM, and on public holidays. At Dr. Prevents, our eight branches across Kepong, Segambut, Jalan Ipoh, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Puchong, Kota Kemuning, and BSD are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — with a doctor on-site at all times. You don't need to wait until Monday morning or drive to a hospital emergency department for a work injury that is better managed at a PERKESO panel clinic level.
If you are unsure whether your injury qualifies for PERKESO coverage, come in and speak to our GP — we assess the injury, advise on PERKESO eligibility, and guide you through the process. You can also WhatsApp us at 016-848 5911 before arriving, or check our insurance panel page and homepage for branch locations and further information.
