If you don't have records, our doctor will assess what's appropriate based on your child's age and create a catch-up plan. Missing vaccines can be given at accelerated intervals where clinically appropriate.
Your child should be well on the day of vaccination — a minor cold is usually fine, but a significant fever (above 38.5°C) or moderately unwell child should be rescheduled. Bring the vaccination record so our doctor can see exactly what's been given before. There's no need to fast. After vaccination, plan to stay in the clinic for 15 minutes for monitoring — a mild fever or soreness at the injection site in the following 24 hours is normal and not a cause for concern.
