Comprehensive travel vaccination service at Klinik Dr. Prevents Kota Kemuning — Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Meningococcal ACWY (Umrah/Hajj), Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, Cholera, and more. International Certificate of Vaccination issued same day. Doctor consultation tailors your jab plan to your specific destination, dates, and itinerary. Conveniently located on Jalan Anggerik Vanilla for travellers across Bukit Rimau, Kemuning Utama, Bandar Botanic, Setia Alam, USJ and Shah Alam — typically 5 to 12 minutes' drive.

Whether you're heading on Umrah, joining the Hajj pilgrimage, exploring rural Vietnam, on safari in Kenya, taking a hiking holiday in Nepal, or relocating for a work assignment in West Africa — your travel vaccination plan should be tailored to your specific destination, length of stay, planned activities, and existing immunisation history. A generic checklist is not enough. At Klinik Dr. Prevents Kota Kemuning, our doctors review your full itinerary alongside the latest WHO and Malaysian Ministry of Health travel advisories to plan exactly what you need — and equally important, what you don't.
We stock the full range of common travel vaccines at our Jalan Anggerik Vanilla branch: Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Meningococcal ACWY (Menveo / Nimenrix), Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, Cholera, MMR booster, Tdap (Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis), Polio booster, and the seasonal influenza vaccine which is strongly recommended for any long-haul travel. The required International Certificate of Vaccination (the famous "Yellow Card") is issued on the same day as your Yellow Fever vaccination, fully WHO-recognised and valid for life.
The ideal lead time is 4 to 8 weeks before departure — this gives time for multi-dose schedules (Hepatitis B requires 3 doses over 6 months for full protection; Rabies pre-exposure prophylaxis requires 3 doses over 3 to 4 weeks), and allows full antibody response before you board your flight. That said, last-minute travellers are still very welcome — even a single dose given days before departure gives partial protection, and some accelerated schedules can compress the timeline. Walk in at any hour to our 24-hour clinic, and the duty doctor will plan what's realistic before your flight. Travellers from Kota Kemuning, Bukit Rimau, Kemuning Utama, Bandar Botanic, Kemuning Greenhills, Setia Alam, USJ, and the wider Shah Alam area reach us in 5 to 12 minutes' drive.
Required for entry into many countries in Africa and South America. Single dose, valid for life. We are an authorised Yellow Fever vaccination centre and issue the International Certificate of Vaccination (Yellow Card) on the same day.
Mandatory for entry into Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. Single dose Menveo or Nimenrix, valid for 5 years. Best given at least 10 days before departure to allow full immunity to develop.
The two most common food-and-water-borne infections globally. Strongly recommended for any travel outside developed countries, including India, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Single dose Hepatitis A gives 1-year cover; booster extends to 25+ years.
Recommended for travellers undertaking medical procedures abroad, working in healthcare, getting tattoos, or having any blood/sexual exposure risk. 3-dose schedule over 6 months for full protection; accelerated schedule available for urgent travel.
Recommended for rural travel in South and Southeast Asia, especially during monsoon season. Mosquito-borne and potentially fatal. 2-dose schedule given 28 days apart.
Recommended for backpackers, hikers, animal handlers, veterinarians, and anyone with extensive rural exposure in Asia, Africa, or Latin America. 3-dose pre-exposure schedule given over 21 to 28 days; simplifies post-exposure treatment dramatically.
Our Kota Kemuning clinic on Jalan Anggerik Vanilla is positioned to serve travellers, business commuters, and Hajj/Umrah pilgrims across the surrounding district. Driving time from most neighbourhoods within the 5 km radius is 5 to 12 minutes — easy to fit travel vaccinations into your pre-departure preparation alongside passport renewals, visa applications, and a quick pre-travel health screening if needed.

Travel vaccination at Klinik Dr. Prevents Kota Kemuning is a full pre-travel health consultation, not just an injection. The doctor reviews your destination, dates, itinerary, accommodation type, planned activities, current health status, and previous immunisations to plan exactly what you need. Some travellers may also need a pre-travel blood test to confirm immunity status, especially for Hepatitis B or MMR.
Common questions from travellers and pilgrims in Kota Kemuning, Bukit Rimau, Kemuning Utama, Bandar Botanic, Setia Alam, USJ, and the surrounding 5 km area.
Ideally 4 to 8 weeks before departure. Some vaccines need multiple doses spread over weeks for full effect — Hepatitis B is a 3-dose schedule over 6 months, Japanese Encephalitis is 2 doses 28 days apart, and Rabies pre-exposure is 3 doses over 21-28 days. Last-minute travel vaccinations are still very useful — even a single dose given days before travel provides partial protection, and accelerated schedules exist for urgent departures. Walk in any time and the duty doctor will plan what's possible.
It depends on your destination, length of stay, planned activities, accommodation type, season of travel, and personal health. Common vaccines for international travel from Malaysia include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, Meningococcal ACWY, Cholera, and seasonal influenza. Our doctor reviews your full itinerary alongside WHO travel advisories to plan exactly what you need — and equally important, what you don't.
Yes. Many countries in sub-Saharan Africa and South America require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination on the International Certificate of Vaccination (the "Yellow Card"). Some countries also require it for transit. We are an authorised Yellow Fever vaccination centre — we administer the vaccine and issue the WHO-recognised Yellow Card on the same day. The certificate is valid for life under current WHO regulations.
Yes. Saudi Arabia requires Meningococcal ACWY vaccination for all Umrah and Hajj pilgrims aged 1 year and above, with proof issued at least 10 days before travel and valid for up to 5 years. The influenza vaccine is also strongly recommended given the close-quarters crowds. Children under 18 travelling from polio-affected countries may need Polio vaccination. Elderly pilgrims should also consider pneumococcal vaccination.
In most cases yes — multiple inactivated vaccines can be safely administered on the same day, given in different muscles (typically both arms, sometimes thigh). The doctor will advise on which combinations are appropriate for your specific situation and medical history. Live vaccines (Yellow Fever, MMR) may need separation if not given on the same day. Some multi-dose vaccines require return visits — but the first dose of each can usually be done together.
The "Yellow Card" is the internationally-recognised vaccination certificate issued under WHO regulations. It is required at certain borders, especially for Yellow Fever endemic countries. We issue the official Yellow Card the same day as Yellow Fever vaccination, with the clinic stamp and authorised doctor's signature. Keep it with your passport — many countries will not allow entry without it, even at long layovers.
Most insurance plans do not cover travel vaccinations as routine preventive care. Some employer or corporate panels cover travel vaccines for overseas work assignments — bring your panel card and we will verify coverage. Cash payment is straightforward and transparent. Some employees are reimbursed directly by their company on production of receipts — we can issue an itemised invoice for this.
No widely-available malaria vaccine exists for adult travellers yet. Protection is through prophylactic tablets (Doxycycline, Malarone, or Mefloquine depending on destination and personal tolerance), started before travel, taken throughout the trip, and continued for 7 days to 4 weeks after returning. We prescribe and dispense malaria prophylaxis as part of your travel consultation. For comprehensive pre-travel preparation, many patients combine this with a health screening package to confirm overall fitness for travel.
